Kota Semua is an urban initiative rooted in the spirit of citizen-driven collaboration — with the public sector, the private sector, and the people. We’re building not only inclusive cities, but sustainable ones. We believe that a just city must also be a climate-resilient and future-proof city. Our mission is clear: to create liveable cities for everyone — today, and for generations to come.

Kota Semua is a non-profit initiative based in Jakarta that advocates for inclusive, just, sustain and collaborative cities. We empower vulnerable communities, inform public policies, and reimagine urban development through civic participation, research, and innovation.

We engage the public through creative campaigns that promote urban justice. One of our flagship initiatives is: #KotaSemua: School-Based Traffic Safety & Inclusive Mobility Education
We run workshops and campaigns in schools that teach children about traffic safety, public transport, and spatial equity using interactive tools like:

Printed kits and creative media

Citizen Voices & Participation

We collect and amplify stories from marginalized city dwellers — those often left out of planning tables — as a foundation for more inclusive policies.
